Clubs and Activities

Outside of the classroom we offer a wide and exciting range of opportunities to have fun, learn new skills and meet new friends. We encourage all students to take part in our activity programme and the variety of activities means there should be something for everyone.

Typical clubs and activities include football, basketball, netball, computer club, science clubs, STEM club, Art club, drama and singing club and many more.

STEM Club

Are you up for a challenge?
Each week in STEM Club there will be a new challenge for you to get involved with, based around Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. This club is provided in partnership with the University of Liverpool. For more information please speak to Miss Clarke or Mr Stitt.

Idea Club

The Idea Club is all about developing digital and enterprise skills through a series of challenges - a bit like the Duke of Edinburgh Award, only digital. You can work towards achieving your Bronze, Silver and Gold Award. For more information please speak to Mrs Orchard.

LIPA Dance

Would you like to work with a professional dancer?
Every Thursday a dance practitioner from The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) will be delivering dance sessions for our students. It's lots of fun and a great way to learn a new skill. For more information please speak to Mr Osgood.

How to join

Clubs will run every week in term time and run according to the timetable.

You don't need to sign up for a club - just attend at the time and place on the timetable.

If you would like any more information please speak to Mrs Critchlow (cri@birkenheadparkschool.com) or the member of staff running the group.
