Woodchurch Road Primary visited BPS back in June where their Year 5 pupils took part in some food and art sessions. This involved making peppermint, orange and rosewater creams dipped in chocolate as well as decorating boxes for them. The activities were to support their chocolate topic in school.

Four of our Year 7 students were then invited to Woodchurch Road recently to watch their Year 5 ‘Chocolate Assembly’.

Former Woodchurch Road pupil Imogen, who is now in Year 7 at BPS said: “The assembly was really good. I particularly enjoyed the Umper Lumpers and it was really nice to see all our primary school teachers.”

Head of Year 7, Mrs Kirwan, said: “It was such a privilege to be invited to the Year 5 assembly and the performance was really enjoyable. It was obvious how much work had gone into it and there are some extremely talented singers, actors and dancers at Woodchurch Road Primary!’

The pupils' decorated boxes were on sale after the performance.
