As part of the schools outreach programme, teachers from BPS provide PE sessions and inputs to primary schools in the area.

45 children from Bidston Avenue Primary, Townfield Primary and The Priory Primary took part in a total of 10 five minute games. They also got involved in throwing practice and drills while they were waiting for their matches.

Certificates were given out to every child at the end of the afternoon and they all had a fantastic time.

The event was organised by Subject Lead for PE, Miss Ponton, she said: “It is always great to get the primary school children in and show them how much fun they can have with sport. They are always really excited to be in a bigger school and it’s also a good way to show them what secondary school is like to ease the transition when they are older.”
