We are very proud to be introducing a re-invigorated extra-curricular programme, full of exciting clubs and activities for all students to get involved with on a weekly basis during school breaks and after-school sessions. The clubs, including over 15 brand new ones introduced this month, give students an extra opportunity to get involved in a mix of arts, sports, media and educational clubs so there really is something for everyone.

Among the new clubs there's Horrible Histories, Gymnastics, Singing, Cinema, Stonewall and PixL Maths. These are in addition to daily breakfast clubs and morning 'Accelerated Reader' classes in the school library. Plus there's football, rugby, basketball, netball, bikes and more. You can pick out the clubs you're interested in by using our timetable of clubs and activities here:

Clubs & Activities Timetable

Not only are these extra-curricular clubs a great way to develop important skills such as communication, teamwork, creativity, leadership, confidence and more, they're also a great way to meet new friends and try out new things outside of the regular classroom. We're asking all students to commit to at least one club every week. As an added incentive, students participating in clubs will have the opportunity to join 'The 100 Club'.

By collecting a teacher's signature from at least one club each week (these can be different clubs each time), students with a full card of signatures at the end of each term will be invited to an exclusive celebration event to reward their fantastic commitment.

The number of clubs & activities will increase as we develop the offering on an ongoing basis. If you have a club that you would like to see introduced in school then please inform us via email to: offices@birkenheadparkschool.com
