Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and we are widely recognised for the high levels of care and support we provide to ensure every child can succeed.

We do not take a ‘one size fits all’ approach; instead, we offer a tailored experience and for students with special educational needs and disabilities, this begins even before they join us through a carefully planned transition from primary school.

Each year group has a dedicated, full-time Year Leader. In Year 7, the primary focus is on helping students settle in confidently, enjoy school life and make strong academic progress.

Beyond Year 7, ongoing support is co-ordinated by our highly trained pastoral leaders, working closely with a skilled team of teaching Assistants and specialist teachers. Together, they provide a range of targeted strategies and interventions to ensure that every member of our school community feels supported and is able to thrive.

We work closely with families and external professionals to ensure support is consistent, effective and responsive to individual needs. This shared commitment helps to create a caring, inclusive school community where every student is encouraged to succeed.
