The Birkenhead Park School is thrilled to unveil an expanded and exciting range of extracurricular activities for the new academic year, offering students more opportunities than ever to explore their passions, develop new skills, and deepen friendships outside of the classroom.

From drama and basketball club, to competitive football and food club, the 2025 programme reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to providing a well-rounded education and fostering student engagement beyond the traditional curriculum. Whether students are interested in debating global issues, exploring creative writing, tackling coding challenges, or getting involved in cooking and environmental projects, there is truly something for everyone.

Spotlight on student talent: new promotional video released

To celebrate and showcase the diverse clubs now available, The Birkenhead Park School has produced a new video featuring students in action across the wide spectrum of extracurriculars. The professionally crafted film captures the energy, enthusiasm, and pride that students bring to their activities, highlighting the positive culture being cultivated across the school.

From shots of the drama club rehearsing for their summer production, to footage of the film club practising camera work, the video offers an inspiring glimpse into the vibrant life that exists beyond the classroom walls. The film also features testimonials from students sharing how these opportunities have boosted their confidence, teamwork, and sense of belonging.

Fostering aspirations and personal growth

Head of School, Mrs Nicola McNamee, expressed great pride in the school’s evolving extracurricular landscape: “At The Birkenhead Park School, we believe education goes far beyond exams. Our new programme and the accompanying video are a celebration of the talents, ambitions, and character of our students. We are so proud of the many ways they contribute to and shape our school community.”

With new activities launching throughout the term and ongoing student input from the students and the student council helping to shape future offerings, the school is ensuring that extracurricular life remains dynamic, inclusive, and responsive to the interests of its pupils.

The video is available to view on the school’s website below, and social media platforms, offering parents, carers, and prospective students a powerful insight into what makes life at The Birkenhead Park School so special.
