Image of Careers Day Inspires Year 11 Students

Last week, our Year 11 students took part in an exciting and informative Careers Day, designed to help them explore future pathways and prepare for life after school.

Throughout the day, students engaged in a variety of activities focused on career planning, interview skills, and understanding the opportunities available after Year 11. They had the chance to work with a range of external partners, including Shaping Futures, Careers Connect, and Wirral Met College, who delivered sessions and offered expert advice.

The event gave students valuable insights into further education, apprenticeships, and the world of work. They received up-to-date labour market information, participated in mock interviews, and developed key employability skills that will support them in the next stage of their journey.

Miss Clarke, Assistant Headteacher, said: “Careers Day is a vital part of our wider commitment to preparing students for life beyond school. We’re proud to offer events like this that give our students the tools and confidence they need to make informed decisions about their futures. It was absolutely fantastic to see Year 11 so engaged throughout the day. A huge thank you to our partners who generously gave their time and expertise to support our students.”

With initiatives like Careers Day, The Birkenhead Park School continues to build a positive foundation for young people as they navigate their next steps with greater confidence and awareness.

We are proud to be a school on the up and on a rapid journey of expansion. If you missed our recent Open Evening, we warmly invite you to get in touch and arrange a visit – we’d love to show you what else our school has to offer.
